When a training program is GCTSC Accredited, an independent panel has reviewed the curriculum for currency and relevance, checked instructor qualifications, and, most importantly, evaluated whether the program's assessment methods genuinely test applied skill rather than attendance.

If the certificate includes a GCTSC verification link or QR code, use it to confirm the specific program’s status.
For questions about an individual’s completion of a program, contact the issuing provider , GCTSC does not hold learner-level records.

What it doesn't mean
- GCTSC did not personally train, test, or evaluate any individual learner
- Accreditation is not a guarantee of a specific learner’s competency , outcomes still depend on the learner and the provider’s delivery
- GCTSC is not a government accreditation body; accreditation carries no government or regulatory recognition unless separately stated
FAQs for employers & learners
Does GCTSC certify individuals?
No. GCTSC accredits training providers and their programs. Individual learners are certified by the training provider itself.
What does it mean if a provider says “certification pending”?
It means they have applied but have not yet received a decision. This status should not be treated the same as active accreditation.
Can accreditation be revoked after a learner has already completed the program?
Yes, if a provider is later found to be out of compliance. This does not retroactively invalidate the learner’s completion, but it reflects a change in the provider’s current standing.
