An accreditation body, not a training company.

The Global Council for Technology Standards & Certification (GCTSC) accredits technology training providers worldwide. We do not deliver courses. We do not administer exams. We do not certify individual learners. We review the process behind a certificate, and accredit the providers whose programs meet our published standard.

What we do

We review a training provider's curriculum, course portfolio, and assessment methodology, then accredit the providers and programs that meet our published standard.

Once accredited, a provider issues its own certificates exactly as it always has. The only change: the certificate can carry the GCTSC seal, backed by an independent, verifiable accreditation and a live entry in our public directory.

What we don't do

Deliver courses or training of any kind
Administer exams or grade learner work
Certify, test, or evaluate individual learners
Hold learner-level records of who completed what

GCTSC exists to bring clarity and trust to technology education.

We give training providers a rigorous, independent way to prove their programs and their assessment methods meet a real standard, so the certificates they issue mean something beyond the provider's own word.

Our story

Why we started

GCTSC was founded on a simple observation: technology training has exploded in volume, but the way learners and employers evaluate its quality hasn't kept pace. Anyone can issue a certificate. Very few certificates are backed by an independent check of whether the curriculum was current, the instructors were qualified, and the assessment actually measured skill. GCTSC was built to be that check.

The problem in tech training today

The market has grown faster than any quality-assurance mechanism has kept up with. Learners choosing between programs have no reliable way to compare rigor. Employers hiring on a certificate have no reliable way to know what it required. And providers who do invest in real curriculum quality and real assessment have no way to distinguish themselves from providers who don't. GCTSC accreditation exists to solve that last problem, and by extension, the first two.

Governance & independence

How review stays independent of sales

Review panel composition

Reviewers have direct industry experience in the domains they evaluate. A cybersecurity program is reviewed by someone with a cybersecurity background, not a generalist.

Conflict of interest policy

Reviewers must disclose any financial, employment, or personal relationship with an applicant before assignment. Any reviewer with a disclosed conflict is recused.

Separation of review from sales

The team reviewing a submission has no visibility into account status, payment history, or membership tier. Fees cover the cost of review, not a favorable outcome.
